Sanastokeskus TSK, the Finnish Terminology Centre, is an association founded in 1974. It offers information and expert services related to terminology work and usage of special language terms. The main goals of the Finnish Terminology Centre are to produce high-quality vocabularies as well as to develop methods for terminology work and maintain the know-how required for terminology work. Activities are grounded in thorough mastery and development of the theory of terminology and the practical methods derived from it.

In the presentation I will tell how terminology work is organised at the Finnish Terminology Centre and also a little about terminology work in Finland generally.
