Born in 1977 in Tallinn. Graduated Tallinn 21st Secondary School (1995). Studied journalism at the University of Tartu (1995-2002); got BA (2005) and MA (2007) in Department of Semiotics and Cultural Studies, University of Tartu. Since 2007 doctoral student at the same department. Besides academic activities worked as journalist covering topics such as cinema and literature.
